ELGIN City's home Betfred Cup match against Hibernian is being screened live on the BT Sport channel.

The group match takes place at Borough Briggs on the Friday night of July 26.

City will also travel to Arbroath on July 13 and Alloa three days later before hosting Stirling Albion on Saturday, July 20 before finishing their group campaign against Hibs.

Gavin Price's side last played the Edinburgh outfit in the Scottish Cup at Easter Road in January, losing 4-0.

It won't be the first time the Black and Whites have featured in a live televised match.

Their Irn Bru Cup tie against Welsh side The New Saints in October 2017 was screened by the S4C channel in Wales.

And Sky covered Elgin's Division 3 match against Rangers in 2013, which the Glasgow side won 1-0 through Lee McCulloch's penalty.

Another Elgin v Rangers clash scheduled to be shown live by the ESPN channel in November 2012 was postponed after Elgin sold too many tickets for the match.
