FOUR youngsters have left Elgin City – with three leaving on loan and Kenny MacInnes joining Nairn County on a permanent deal.

MacInnes made 24 appearances for Elgin, but has now returned to his hometown club in Nairn, who he was on loan with for the back end of last season.

Striker Ben Barron has followed MacInnes in re-joining his hometown team – moving to the Wee County on loan until the end of the campaign.

The former Forres Mechanics striker, still just 19, joined Elgin in the summer but hasn't managed to establish himself as the number one centre-forward at Borough Briggs.

Wingers Aidan Cruickshank and Dylan Lawrence – who have both been on loan with Forres this campaign – have joined Lossiemouth for the remainder of the season.

In addition to the departures at Elgin City, Buckie Thistle striker John MacLeod has joined Strathspey Thistle on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Aidan Wilson has been transfer listed by Rothes.
