Two holes-in-one for Elgin golfer

AN Elgin golfer has described how he managed two achieve two holes-in-one during the same competition round.

Rob Tyson managed two holes-in-one on the same round at Elgin.

Rob Tyson aced the 159-yard fourth hole at Elgin Golf Club then, incredibly, repeated the feat just three holes later at the 169-yard 7th.

The 15-handicapper was playing in an Elgin Rotary tournament on

Thursday night alongside playing partner Graham Milne when he pulled off his astonishing double.

"I just couldn’t stop laughing when the second one went in, it was so strange," he said. "I was dancing up and down, then I had to sit down!"

The retired 67-year-old, who has been playing golf for around 35 years, was using a six iron when he holed both shots.
