Corey Rizza faced up to club mate Arran Devine in what was a difficult one for the Elgin coaches to watch, knowing for certain that one of their fighters would go out of the competition.

Head coach Paul Gordon said the two Elgin lads fought out an exceptional bout which could have went either way, but it was Rizza who had his hand raised on a 3-2 split decision.

Despite a determined effort by the Moray hopeful, it was Hannaway who won his way through to the final.
