Manager Gavin Price said his team must defeat the Warriors to keep their slim League 2 play-off hopes alive.

City crashed to a 2-0 home defeat against Stirling Albion on Saturday (see Elgin City TV highlights video).

The result left the Moray side still trailing fourth-placed Stenhousemuir by four points, after the Warriors also lost at home to Cowdenbeath.

The two play-off rivals meet at Ochilview on Saturday and Price admitted: "We will need to win it."

"It is last chance saloon on Saturday so we will need to treat it like a cup final, get through this cup final and we will see where it takes us.

"Certainly we need to start building momentum now there's seven games to go."
