GAVIN Price said Elgin City were unlucky not to break their losing away run at Clyde on Tuesday.

The City manager felt his team more than matched their hosts and deserved something from the game.

However David Goodwillie's unmarked header on the hour won Bully Wee all three points and stretched City's losing run on their travels to eight matches.

"We were unlucky. It could have gone either way.

"We played a lot better and I was happy with the performance but we didn't take our chances and they have taken the one big chance they had and it's won them the game. It's disappointing to lose.

"I certainly wasn't critical of the players after what for me was a good away performance. We looked a lot more solid.

"The goal remains the same for the fixtures we have in March. We set our target in these seven games and we can still reach that target.

"Looking at the fixtures we had, Tuesday was one of our harder ones and I still think we are on course if we play like we have in our last two games."
