Moray has a Scottish boxing champion yet again, with glory gained on home ground.

Fraser Wilkinson won the Scottish middleweight title on Saturday night after defeating Coatbridge opponent Ben McGivern via a ninth round knockout at Elgin Town Hall.

‘Wilko’ wore the Scottish super welterweight belt in December 2022 following his win over Corey McCulloch on his home venue in December 2022, and achieved his second national glory with Saturday’s thrilling success.
