FOUR tough games lie between Elgin City and the play-offs.

City's 3-0 win over Stirling on Saturday (see Elgin City TV highlights above) put them back in fourth spot in League 2.

Goals by debut boy Nathan Flanagan, Brian Cameron and Shane Sutherland inside the first 24 minutes kept Elgin in contention for promotion.

The Black and Whites' next match is away to Annan Athletic, where they have won just three times in 18 visits with the last success in January 2015.

Elgin then host Edinburgh City before finisbhing against the league's top two sides, second-placed Peterhead at home and a trip to leaders Montrose on the last day.

Stenhousemuir, who are two points behind with two games in hand, were due to visit Berwick tonight (Tuesday) but the match has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Warriors have to go to Berwick twice, as well as trips to Edinburgh and Stirling and home games against Annan and Montrose.

Clyde, who are just two points behind Elgin in sixth, have on paper the easiest run-in.

They have away trips to Edinburgh and Cowdenbeath, and home matches against Stirling and Berwick.

Meanwhile Elgin defender Matthew Cooper has signed a new deal with the Borough Briggs club.

Cooper (23) has committed to a fifth season with the Black and Whites since making the move from Caley Thistle in the summer of 2014.
