It was the shock Scottish Cup result of the weekend by far.

Elgin City's stunning 6-0 loss to East of Scotland League side Jeanfield Swifts sent shockwaves across the country - watch highlights on Scottish Cup YouTube channel, below.

Five former City players featured on the pitch for the Perth hosts including four starters, with Chris McLeish scoring two of their first three goals.

Scott Smith, Aaron Whitehead, Ollie Hamilton and sub Chris Dodd have also been on the books of Elgin in the past, when they were managed by ex-Jeanfield manager Gavin Price.

On the other side, current Elgin defender Jake Dolzanski was made to suffer by his old club as he left Swifts to join the Black and Whites in the summer of 2022.

The SPFL side found themselves 4-0 down inside 28 minutes, on their way to a result considered by many to be the worst in City's 130-year history.
