WATCH - Craigellachie athlete storms to victory at Nairn 10K
Kenny Wilson says he was pleased to start the season with victory at the Nairn 10K on Sunday.
The Moray Road Runners athlete claimed the title with a winning time of 30 minutes and 51 seconds.
He says he was pleased with his performance, targeting any time under 31 minutes as a good result.
He said: "I am really pleased to get under 31 minutes, it's a good start to the season.
"I have not had too much training lately compared to normal, I thought I would be a minute slower compared to what I did. To go under 31 minutes is a good starting block for the season."
Kenny's brother James finished in second place in a one-two for the Wilson family.
Kenny says he was pleased to keep his undefeated record against James in tact.
"He has always wanted to beat me and he will get me one day, but luckily I've had him up until now so I will try and keep doing the same thing.
"He can beat me in a sprint, but in the longer stuff I still have him."
Wilson is now looking forward to the Inverness Half Marathon next Sunday which is doubling up as the Scottish Half Marathon Championships.
He says he is looking to test himself over shorter distances than he usually does.
"Normally I am training for a marathon at this time of year so don't get to do too many 10k's, but I am looking to do as much racing as I can and get more 10ks in.
"I will go off hard and see if I can hang on and make it a honest race for myself."
