THE League 2 post-split play-off chase was a great contest between four closely-matched teams behind Queen's Park, says Elgin City boss Gavin Price.
Price offered sympathy to Stirling Albion and manager Kevin Rutkiewicz for so narrowly missing out on the top four - see interview below.
"I feel bad for Kevin at Stirling because someone had to miss out, and there’s nothing between the teams," Price said.

"All season it’s been nip and tuck between Stirling, Stranraer, Edinburgh and ourselves."
Price was thankful that City managed to muscle in on the play-off places in the end, but is wary of a tough double header against Edinburgh City.
Elgin have only beaten the capital side once in 13 meetings since Price became boss at Borough Briggs.
They haven't beaten Edinburgh in nine encounters since their last success in August, 2018.
"Edinburgh has been a bogey team for us," he admitted.
"We’ve tried to say enjoy the feeling because it was such a hard push to get through to the play-offs with four excellent teams fighting for it."
