Hester scored all four of City's goals in Saturday's 4-0 win over Camelon at Borough Briggs - see highlights below on the Scottish Cup YouTube channel.

The striker has taken just three months of the campaign to equal his best goal tally for an entire season - he also managed 19 in 2019-20 and 2020-21, and netted 17 last term.

"I'm happy for the team to get through to the next round and obviously I'm happy scoring four goals," he said.

"That's equalled my best season for goals and it's happened pretty quickly.

"Getting 20 seems to have been my hoodoo so once I get one more, that will be off my back.

"I should have scored more goals today. I was just a bit slack from having a bit more time with some of the chances, without being disrespectful to Camelon.

"I definitely could have had four more if I did my job properly."
