LOSSIEMOUTH boss Frank McGettrick was pleased with his team's performance as they pushed Fraserburgh all the way in a 1-0 defeat at Grant Park.

A second half goal from Scott Barbour - his 237th for Fraserburgh making him the club's all-time joint leading goalscorer - was enough to secure the points.

However, it was far from comfortable for the visitors and Lossie created chances to earn a point, with Ryan Farquhar spurning the best of them in the second half.

Lossie had gone into the game on the back of four wins in five games and the confidence from that good run showed.
