JEVAN Anderson is determined to enjoy a successful football career like his famous father and hopes Elgin City can give him a stepping stone along the way.

Anderson (21) is currently on loan at Elgin from Cove Rangers and made his debut for the Black and Whites in today's 3-1 victory over Stirling Albion.

The victory ended a five-game losing streak for the Moray side and their new loan arrival hopes to steer his temporary club away from the danger zone.

He spoke after the match about how impressed he was by Elgin's football and the way they dictated the match against Stirling.

Anderson is the son of Aberdeen defensive legend Russell and says he still gets plenty input from his famous father for advice on his career path.
