It's a mark of the progress being made at Elgin City when their manager is disappointed with a draw against the team 16 points clear at the top of League 2.

City boss Allan Hale was thrilled by his team's first half display in Saturday's 2-2 draw against table toppers Stenhousemuir - watch City's goals here.

He spoke about missed opportunities from his team after they overturned Stenny's lead to go 2-1 ahead and pin the Warriors back for long spells.

Hale said his team has interest at both ends of the table, hinting that although they are not safe from a relegation play-off, they are not yet cut off from the promotion play-offs if they can maintain their improving form.

And he looked ahead to his team's derby trip to Peterhead next Saturday.
