HIGHLAND League football has once more been cleaned out by the wintry weather.

All four Wednesday night matches including Buckie Thistle's home clash with Turriff United have been postponed.

Heavy snow wiped out the entire card on Saturday and the subsequent thaw has resulted in waterlogged pirtches across the north.

Victoria Park was declared unplayable on Wednesday lunchtime, following the league games between leaders Cove Rangers and Nairn County, and the Brora versus Wick derby in falling by the wayside.

Also postponed for a fourth time was the Highland League Cup first round tie between Strathspey thistle and Huntly, which now goes ahead on Saturday.
