Buckie Thistle toppled league leaders Turriff United, Lossie hit five at Strathspey while Keith and Forres returned to winning ways.

Jags made Jamie Fraser's first strike matter as they eased out Turriff, who had Paul Young sent off to add to their woes.

Goals by Ryan Farquhar, Ryan Green, Aaron Hamilton, Shawn Scott and David Chambers helped Lossie to a 5-2 win at Strathspey, taking the Coasters up to seventh in the table.

Ten-man Forres Mechanics returned to winning ways as Lee Fraser with front duo Lee Fraser and Liam Baxter on target in a 2-1 success at home to Deveronvale.

The Cans did it the hard way, with Fraser’s winner coming after they had captain Graeme Grant sent off for conceding Vale’s penalty equaliser.

Improving Keith won again, Kris Duncan getting the only goal in the second half of their 1-0 success over Fort William.

Rothes are still the only team without a victory this season, and they are marooned even further adrift at the bottom following their 5-0 defeat at nearest rivals Huntly.

The game of the day saw Formartine go top with a 2-0 triumph away to champions Brora.
