Winter whiteout for Moray football

Several Highland League matches and all of the junior programme had been postponed by lunchtime.

This follows the SPFL calling off all matches in its four divisions, including Elgin City's trip to Clyde, on police and Travel Scotland advice.

Highland League games confirmed as off on Friday include Buckie Thistle's home game against Forres Mechanics and Keith's trip to Brora Rangers.

Huntly's clash with Formartine and the games between Strathspey v Wick and Turriff v Inverurie were postponed on Thursday morning.

The remaining Highland League games are expected to follow soon.

The North Region Junior FA confirmed that all league and cup matches across the region were cancelled.

Due to the adverse weather and treacherous travelling conditions, all fixtures in the North Region Junior Football Association for Saturday 3rd March 2018 have been postponed.
