JEFF Wright from Forres won the Elgin 5 Day Open after beating home club member Derek Ramsay in the final.

The low handicap (W.J. Clark Cup) was won by Ian Hamilton who defeated John Dickson.

Donald Fraser beat Ronald Main to lift the Engineer’s Salver for the high handicap.

The Alan Mine Seniors Shield was won by Bryce Milne who beat Ian Simpson.

The JAG Innes Consolation Trophy was won by John Lees (Moor Park) who beat Sandy Whyte.
