Diversions remain in place after serious A95-A941 junction accident at Craigellachie

A LOCAL diversion remains in place this evening as of 9pm after a serious collision at the A95/A941 junction at Criagellachie.

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to the incident just before 5pm, with accident investigation continuing following confirmation of a fatality.

AMEY NE Trunk Roads advise the following diversions are in place.

Northbound - Traffic to exit A95 turning left on to the B9008 towards Tomintoul, continue on B9008 to the junction with the B9009 and turn left on to B9009, continue on the B9009 to Dufftown and turn left on to the A941, continue on A941 to Craigellachie and the permanently positioned signs.

Distance 34.5 kms

Southbound - Exit A95 turning left on to A941 at Craigellachie, continue on A941 to junction with B9009 at Dufftown, turn right on to the B9009, continue to the junction with the B9008, turn right on to the B9008 then continue to the junction with the A95 at Memorial and the permanently positioned signs.

Distance 34.5 kms
