Several of Moray's best-known bands will be getting together next month to play a gig at Elgin Town Hall in support of men's mental health.

The Fragz, MacTa, Bad Actress, Ant Thomaz and Cask will be all be performing at the venue on January 27.

The event is a follow-up to 'The Conversation: I am me' gig last January, which raised £2200 for the charity Mikeysline.

Chloe O'Connor from Mikeysline said: "The suicide rate for men is around three times higher than it is for women.

"That’s why it’s so important for us to break down the stigma around speaking about mental health, especially amongst men.

"Mikeysline is here to support all adults and young people from age 11 and up with any issues and concerns they may have.

"We are especially grateful to the organisers of ‘The Conversation: I am me 2024’ for choosing to support Mikeysline at their charity concert, which will help us massively with providing support in Moray."

During the concert there'll be another chance to see the special line-up of local musicians perform the song they recorded together, and which kicked it all off, The Conversation: I am me.

These include Gary 'Moyzie' Moyse, Danny Mortimer, Blaire MacKenzie and members of The Fragz and MacTa.

The song is still available on most streaming platforms including Spotify and iTunes, and all proceeds will go to Mikeysline.
