MORAY Citizens Advice Bureau will be closed to the public from tomorrow until further notice.
The move is being taken as a precautionary measure to protect clients, staff and volunteers from unnecessary risk due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Help to Claim adviser Diana McPartlin said: "We will offer an enhanced telephone advice service to assist our clients and, in certain circumstances, we may continue to assist clients with disability forms.
"If clients need to access our telephone service they can contact us using the following numbers: (01343) 550088 / 559001 / 559004 / 559002 from Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm.
"We will also suspend our outreach services in all locations for the time being.
"We will monitor the situation closely, and the bureau will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
"We understand the difficulties this causes for clients as the very service they need to access is restricted and we apologise for the inconvenience."
Citizens Advice Scotland has published a new advice page on coronavirus with links to information about what you can do to avoid getting the virus, and what you can do to stop the virus spreading if you think you have it.
Latest figures show the number of cases in the Grampian area is now 26.
