Here's the latest creation of Elgin's Mystery Crocheter.
This beautifully made Scotty Dog has appeared overnight outside our office in South Street.
And we think it's absolutely brilliant.
So a warm thank-you to the Mystery Crocheter, whoever you may be.
For those who don't already know, various woollen characters have been popping up at locations right round the town in recent works.
In the lead-up to Valentine's Day several were placed on the bollards along Thunderton Place.
Laura Scott, who runs the Ditsy Teacup, was understandably thrilled to find this tea set directly outside her café.
Curious about who could be behind such a nice gesture, she checked her CCTV.
However, the footage from 9.30pm the previous night only added to the puzzle.
All it revealed was a shadowy figure, who in order not to be identified, was wearing a mask and a baseball cap.
Meanwhile, back in January, the post box at the junction of Duffus Road and Morriston Road got this makeover.
Like several of its woolly cousins, it came with complete with a note which was signed 'Random Acts of Crochet Kindness'.
Added to all that, the post box outside The Harvest Centre on Greyfriars Street got this festive treatment at Christmas.
Keep up the good work of putting smiles on people's faces.
