Town landmarks, including the Cathedral, Ladyhill and the River Lossie have been transformed by snow in recent days.

Snowploughs have been clearing essential routes and sidestreets, while smaller Moray Council vehicles work to make footpaths and narrower areas passable.

The community has been united in its efforts to keep Elgin ticking, with many braving the cold to shovel snow.
