ELGIN City centre-half Stephen Bronsky has become the thirteenth player from last season's squad to sign up for the new campaign.

Bronsky (26) was a mainstay at the heart of City's defence last campaign, playing 27 League Two matches and scoring three times.

Talking to the Elgin City website, Bronsky, who is heading into his fourth campaign at Borough Briggs, said: "I’m happy to have signed on at Elgin for another season.

"We are in some pretty unprecedented times so I’m delighted to finally get something sorted and agreed for this year.

“I feel as if there is some unfinished business to attend to after now last season ended. Hopefully we can go one further this season and push for promotion.

“We have a good group of boys and the majority from last year are still here which is key. I can’t wait to get started.”

It was announced yesterday that City's season will start on October 6 with the first game of the Betfred Cup group stage.

League Two is set to start on October 17.
