Having watched Michael Dangana star at previous club Huntly, Elgin City manager Allan Hale knew the winger would be a hit at Borough Briggs.

It has taken the former Aberdeen man time to adjust to the step up from Highland League football to SPFL but he made a telling breakthrough on Saturday

More Elgin City:

Dangana struck the only goal in City's 1-0 win over Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic and put in a man of the match performance.

Hale said in his post-match interview: "I can't speak highly enough of Danga.

"It's not been easy coming to the club mid-season with all the pressure and expectation.

"It's taken him time to adapt, he knows that himself but everyone has been patient with him. You could see in training he's full of ability."
