Back-to-back Borough Briggs wins over Peterhead and Stranraer have lifted City up to eighth in League 2 and chasing a group of clubs above them in the table.

They overtook Forfar, who they play on Saturday at Station Park, where the Black and Whites picked up their only league point on the road this season.

Manager Hale spoke after his latest victory about how previous results on the road count for nothing as he challenged his men to replicate their encouraging home performances at other club's grounds as well.

City have won five times at home and Hale wants Borough Briggs to be a "dangerous ground" for their League 2 rivals to visit.

The City manager also explained why he didn't hand an immediate debut to new signing Lyall Booth.

And he praised the support of the Black and Whites' fans, saying their backing makes a positive impact on team performances.
