Robert Jones in loving life at Elgin City - but he has reached the end of his short-term Borough Briggs contract.

Jones (28) had been out of football when he was drafted in by previous City boss Barry Smith to help add experience to the League 2 side's ranks.

The striker admitted he was exhausted after helping City to their derny success to end 2023 on a high - see post-match interview below.

The striker, who has played for several SPFL sides and also had a stint in Ireland, scored in the Black and Whites' 2-1 win over Peterhead today.

It was his second goal in Elgin colours and he has now made six starts and four sub appearances for the club.

He spoke about his enjoyment of playing for the club, how the move came about and what the future has in store for him and Elgin.
