The 22-year-old impressed on his City debut in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Dumbarton, having agreed a loan deal from Cove during the week.

More Elgin City:

He revealed in his post-match interview (below) how he moved to Elgin as a youngster more than ten years ago and played at schools level before being snapped up by Ross County, then Aberdeen.

Gallagher spoke about his eagerness to play for Elgin when Cove decided to loan him out for match experience at the turn of the year.

He has joined Cove team-mate Dajon Golding in the City squad and is confident that he can help the Black and Whites climb up the League 2 table.
