JOE Russell is relishing Lossiemouth's Scottish Cup challenge after back-to-back Highland League victories.

The Coasters manager praised his team's performance in Saturday's 2-0 success over Keith, having defeated Turriff United by an identical scoreline seven days earlier.

Russell spoke in his post-match interview (above) about the impact made by Saturday's goalscorers Dean Stewart and Ross Morrison, who are playing their first season in the Highland League after stepping up from junior football.

The Grant Park boss can now turn his focus to Saturday's Scottish Cup first round tie against East of Scotland League First Division Conference B side Preston Athletic.

Lossie have had reports on the Prestonpans side, who have made a strong start to their league campaign and will arrive in Moray full of confidence.
