MBE for Anderson's Care Home manager Kathy McGrath-Gunn

ANDERSON'S Care Home manager Kathy McGrath-Gunn has received an MBE for services to older people during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ms McGrath has worked at the Elgin care home for 45 years.

She has been in charge of the home's 110 staff during the pandemic, and has been awarded an MBE for her service to Moray's old people.

Speaking to the Scot during the pandemic, she said the key was to "make sure it's not just about care, but also fun and laughter" during these difficult times.
