Joining his former boss Allan Hale at Elgin City was a "no-brainer" for ex-Aberdeen and Huntly stopper Lyall Booth.

Booth (20) made his City debut in their 1-0 defeat at home to Dumbarton on Saturday.

More Elgin City:

He slotted in seamlessly at left back for the Moray men and is already looking forward to Tuesday night's basement battle against bottom side Clyde.

Booth came through the ranks at Aberdeen alongside current City team-mates Michael Dangana and Mark Gallagher before joining Brechin City, then Huntly.
